SiyonaTech, Henley-on-Thames, UK
SiyonaTech specialises in creating learning and communication solutions for a range of clients across multiple platforms, including desktops/laptops, tablets, smartphones, VR/AR devices and smart glasses.
Working off of scripts provided by instructional designers at the company, I created UI designs, storyboards and collated assets for these various solutions. Often times, I would also design the company's marketing collateral for tradeshows and events throughout the year.
Throughout the year, SiyonaTech often entered tradeshows - the biggest of the year being Learning Technologies, which is held towards the beginning of the year in London. I was asked to update the company’s branding, make it more modern and design the stand for the event. I also created booklet designs to hand out during the event to inform visitors about the company.
After discussing with the manager what he envisioned, he expressed that he wanted to keep a playful and positive feel, in keeping with the orange and green colour scheme. I extended the colours, playing with gradients and simple shapes to bring depth and life to the branding.
Using a mix of photography and fun, modern illustrations, we visually showed services the company provided alongside text explanation. I also standardised their typekit and added small accents that really helped to tie everything together.
