As a junior designer at Designer Parfums, I had the opportunity to work in-house and hands on with some popular fragrance brands, including Ghost Fragrances and Hawaiian Tropic, as well as celebrity fragrances such as Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez and Naomi Campbell.
The core of my role was to support senior members of the team with artworking for each brand, ensuring deliverables were correct to brand guidelines before going live or to print. This was inclusive of, but not limited to, POS displays, magazine spreads, visuals, packaging, tags/labels and marketing material.
I also worked regularly with the head designer, NPD and marketing team to conceptualise new products and fragrance flankers, particularly for Ghost Fragrances and Hawaiian Tropic.
Project
Ghost Fragrances was the first brand I interacted with at Designer Parfums, I became very familiar with the brand.
I became heavily involved in helping to conceptualise and design across the whole range of Ghost Fragrances, including magazine spreads, POS displays, visuals, giftsets and marketing collateral. I have chosen a couple of my favourite projects below to share: Ghost Christmas Baubles and Ghost Sweetheart Forever Valentine's Giftset. It was really exciting to see these products across UK stores such as Boots, Superdrug and The Fragrance Shop when they came to launch!
Ghost Christmas Baubles
These Ghost Christmas Baubles, each containing a Ghost Fragrance Mini and lip balm were launched for Christmas 2019. I began conceptualising with the lead designer a year ahead and worked with the marketing and NPD team to design the perfect dreamy sky backgrounds for each 'bauble', as well as create the tags for the product and any artworking throughout the process.
Ghost Sweetheart Forever Valentine's Giftset
Spreading some love for Valentine's 2019, I worked with the NPD team to create this giftset containing the Ghost Sweetheart Forever fragrance, along with a cute lock and key necklace set. Following brand guidelines, I designed the packaging and necklace backing card for this cute giftset.
